Ice Castles in Dillon

Last week I took the short trip to Dillon. It was snowing on the way there and the weather wasn’t looking too great for the drive home. I arrived around 3:30pm and with sunset around 4:30pm, I was trying to make it a quick trip so I didn’t have to drive back in the slush and snow at night.

That said, I entered the ice castles at my appointment time and it wasn’t nearly as crowded as I expected. Everyone was courteous and respectful of each other. I took a few pictures and I actually thought I had taken a few video clips. But when I got home a plugged my camera into the computer, I realized there were no videos. So, hope you enjoy these pictures. I will work on my videography skills for next trip. Also, next year I will plan to go later in the evening to see all of the lights in the ice.
